Legal Framework & Operations

Terms & Conditions

Effective as of May 28, 2026. Please read these operating terms and covenants governing our spatial design consultancy and dynamic botanical collections carefully.

Overview of Integrated Offerings

Welcome to Leaf & Loom. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our virtual platform, online catalog, and dynamic design solutions. By accessing our Site, purchasing mature botanical cultivars or micropropagated specimens, or retaining our spatial architecture services, you expressly agree to be bound by these operating rules.

We operate a dual-division creative house delivering:

  • Loom Division (Spatial Architecture & Styling): Virtual and remote interior design packages, layout mood boards, material selection grids, and custom architectural styling schematics.
  • Leaf Division (Horticultural Curation & Cultivars): High-end living agricultural goods, nursery-hardened collector specimens, and tissue-culture micropropagated clones.
  • Decor & Accents: Custom stickers, modern art prints, and curated home decor pieces.

Spatial Design Consultancy (Loom Division)

Our interior design and space-planning services are conducted entirely online via digital e-design formats. By purchasing a design package, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:

Conceptual Scope

All deliverables are strictly aesthetic and conceptual recommendations. We are not licensed structural engineers, plumbing masters, or electrical contractors. Our schematics exclude structural load-bearing approvals or code-enforced engineering files.

Client Sizing Inputs

We rely entirely on client-submitted room dimensions, window layouts, and mechanical positions. Leaf & Loom bears no liability for structural modifications, tradesperson sizing issues, or decor fit conflicts arising from incorrect original measurements.

Third-Party Procurement:Shoppable recommendations involve furniture and textiles from independent third-party vendors. Leaf & Loom does not guarantee price stability, availability, shipping times, or structural quality of such external products. Purchases from these third parties are executed at your sole discretion.

Botanical Curation & Living Agriculture (Leaf Division)

Living botanicals are biological organisms that carry inherent risks during transit and acclimation. By purchasing live specimens, you accept the following terms:

  • Natural Biological Variation: Each plant is unique. While our catalog pictures show representative stock, slight variances in leaf count, foliage coloring, and leaf variegation are standard.
  • Shipping & Transit Stress: Minor mechanical and cosmetic transport stress is standard (e.g. cosmetic leaf bruising, yellowing of a lower leaf, minor soil shifting). These occurrences do not signify a defective specimen and do not warrant refunds.
  • Toxicity: Many high-end collector plants (such as Philodendrons or Anthuriums) are toxic if ingested by pets or children. It is your responsibility to research species toxicity before placing botanicals in accessible areas.

Stickers, Art Prints, and Home Decor

We aim to represent all artistic prints, die-cut stickers, and home accents with high-fidelity color profiling. However, actual colors may vary slightly depending on monitor profiles, calibration limits, and environmental lighting grids.

These Terms apply to all current and subsequent home accessories, physical prints, and custom textile designs brought to market by our collective design house.

Shipping, Risks, and Weather Liabilities

All shipments are managed under third-party carriage contracts (e.g. USPS, UPS). The risk of loss, thermal damage, and legal title passes to you once the package is accepted by the carrier.

Horticultural Weather Covenants

We offer a 100% safe, live arrival guarantee for live plant specimens exclusively when shipped via Overnight Express. Standard Shipping and 2-Day Priority delivery options do not carry live arrival guarantees for living plants, and any transit stress or environmental damage under standard/priority transit speeds will not qualify for refunds or replacements. In addition, you bear sole responsibility for verifying local meteorological forecasts. In instances of extreme cold (below 45°F / 7°C) or excessive heat, you must select appropriate insulated shipping sleeves or climate packs at checkout. We are not liable for environmental root damage or frost bite resulting from lack of shipping protection or packages left exposed in the elements after carrier delivery.

Return, Refund, and Cancellation Protocols

Given the diverse nature of our integrated offerings, our cancel-and-refund terms are segmented strictly by category:

Live Plants & Tissue Cultures

Due to strict biological quarantine rules and agricultural health certifications, all live plant sales are FINAL. If a plant is received Dead on Arrival (DOA) or heavily damaged, you must contact us at [email protected] within 24 hours of the carrier delivery timestamp. Include clear unboxing photos and videos. Approved claims will receive store credit or replacement specimens at our discretion.

Virtual Design Services

Given the bespoke, time-intensive nature of interior architecture planning, all design packages are non-refundable once creative concept analysis, client consultation, or floor plan layout design has commenced.

Art Prints, Stickers & Decor

We offer a 14-day return window for unopened, unused, and undamaged merchandise. Return shipping expenses are borne entirely by the purchaser.

Intellectual Property & Commercial Limitations

All proprietary content rendered on this platform—including spatial 3D models, layout renders, product descriptions, photography, digital sketches, custom tissue culture cultivars, logos, and scripts—remains the sole intellectual property of Leaf & Loom LLC.

You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use design plans for your own property. You may not republish, resell, or distribute our design concepts or artistic patterns commercially without our prior written authorization.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranty & Operational Liabilities

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leaf & Loom, its founders, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from product use, spatial implementation, or plant handling. This explicitly covers:

  • Biological decay or acclimation melting of live tissue culture plants post-delivery.
  • Structural damage, contractor installation mistakes, or material failures occurring during local physical construction based on our e-design plans.
  • Property or biological damage resulting from incorrect watering, chemical fertilizers, or soil layouts.

These operational Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **State of Michigan, United States**, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree that any legal actions arising from your interactions with our divisions must be resolved within Michigan state courts.
